Standard doctors appointments and general consultations are scheduled for 10-15 minutes and can usually only deal with one or two problems. If you think you will need longer, please book a longer appointment, and remember that this will generally incur an extra fee.
Medical procedures for minor surgery, IUCD insertion & removal, insurance and immigration medicals and “all over check ups” require at least half hour appointments. Whilst we make every effort to run to time there are occasions when unexpected emergencies, or a consultation running over time, may cause delays.
For those people who come in without an appointment, urgent problems will be dealt with immediately, or you may be offered the first available appointment. This may not necessarily be with the doctor of your choice. If the doctors are fully booked, you may asked to returned at a later time. Previously booked appointments do take priority, except in urgent situations.
